These terms cover the Albion Mass Discord bot and the dashboard at albionmass.com (together, “the Service”). By adding the bot to a Discord server, or by signing in to the dashboard, you agree to them. If you do not agree, remove the bot and do not sign in.
1. What the Service is
The Service helps Albion Online guilds organise themselves. It keeps a roster of a Discord server’s members, records event attendance, stores team compositions, and posts objective timers in a Discord channel. It is an independent hobby project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Discord Inc. or Sandbox Interactive GmbH, the makers of Albion Online.
2. Who may use it
- You must meet Discord’s own minimum age for your country and comply with the Discord Terms of Service.
- Adding the bot to a Discord server requires the Manage Server permission there.
- Whoever adds the bot to a server becomes that server’s Super Admin on the dashboard. That role cannot be removed through the dashboard, by anyone.
- Server administrators decide who else may sign in, by choosing which Discord role is required, and which people hold Admin or Caller roles.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to harass, impersonate, or abuse anyone;
- enter unlawful content, or personal information about other people, into free-text fields such as objective names and zones;
- attempt to gain access to servers, data, or accounts you are not entitled to;
- automate, scrape, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
- use the Service in breach of Discord’s or Albion Online’s terms.
Content you enter is visible to other members of the same Discord server. Do not enter anything you would not want them to read.
4. Availability, and no warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranty of any kind. It is run by one person as a hobby project. It may be unavailable, lose data, change, or stop entirely, at any time and without notice. It depends on Discord’s and Albion Online’s systems, which are outside our control.
Do not rely on it for anything that matters outside a game. Objective timers, attendance records and compositions can be wrong, delayed, or lost. Keep your own record of anything you would be unhappy to lose.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, nor for lost data, lost in-game items, lost progress, or lost opportunity, arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
6. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your Discord server and no longer signing in.
- We may suspend or remove access to the Service, for a person or for a whole server, if it is being used abusively or in breach of these terms.
- Removing the bot from a server ends dashboard access for that server’s members. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to stored data.
7. Changes
These terms may change as the Service changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
